Student Chapters:
Student Chapters provide unique opportunities for networking, mentoring and bonding over common interests. They provide support both within the student community and to local communities outside the institution.
The student chapters of ACM’s Committee on Women in Computing (ACM-W) serve to increase recruitment and retention of women in computing fields at the university level. An ACM-W chapter on your campus offers students activities and projects that aim to improve the working and learning environments for women in computing.
Student Chapter Member Benefits:
Individuals who are members of Chapters are known as ACM Chapter Members; ACM Chapter Members are eligible for the following set of member benefits:
- Complimentary Subscription to Communications – Chapter Members are eligible for a three-month complimentary electronic subscription to ACM’s flagship publication Communications of the ACM.
