ACM Tech Symposium: A Discussion about tomorrow’s wonders

Additionally, to engage in a group discussion about technological advancements and their implications. Introduction: The ACM Board assembled today for a dual-purpose meeting, commencing with a lunch gathering to deliberate on the trajectory of our student chapter, followed by an insightful discussion on emerging technological trends within the quiet setting of the campus digital library. Luncheon Meeting: The lunch gathering was an informal however productive atmosphere for the Board members to exchange ideas regarding the enhancement of our ACM student chapter. Discussions revolved around devising strategies to invigorate the body, thus keeping it active and increase volunteer participation, planning to gain more students from all departments to be volunteers in the ACM Student Chapter, and arrange a broad spectrum of activities, plan a wide range of events for students to take part in, and learn something from them, to cater to the interests of our members. From Research and Innovation to Comercialisation
Aiming to achieve the vision of honorable Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi Ji and the initiative of Ministry of Education, Government of India in collaboration with AICTE, a series of seminars are organizing across the country to discuss the transformation changes that has laid to the foundation of Vikasit Bharat by 2047. In Continuation to this series, Stanley college of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad organized an online event on 6th March 2024, a discussion on “From Research and Commercialism” for students and faculty of HEIs. Dr. Zahoorullah S MD, Chief Innovation Officer, Atal Incubation Centre, ALEAP WEHUB was invited as a guest speaker in this session. It was followed by an inquisitive Question and Answer session. Stanley and BITS Hyderabad Joint Hackathon
Bits Pilani , Hyd campus – J block Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani Hyderabad Campus Jawahar Nagar, Kapra Mandal Medchal District - 500 078 Telangana, India, Hyderabad, Telangana, IndiaThe Stanley College ACM-W Board, in collaboration with BITS Hyderabad, hosted a dynamic joint hackathon designed to empower participants in exploring and advancing their technical skills. This hackathon provided a platform for participants to engage in problem-solving across three in-demand domains: Web Development, Machine Learning (ML), and Natural Language Processing (NLP). By focusing on these areas, the event catered to a diverse range of interests and allowed students to delve into real-world challenges in the tech landscape. The hackathon began with an introduction to the selected problem statements and allowed participants to form teams aligned with their areas of expertise. As a result, the hackathon not only offered a competitive environment but also fostered collaboration and knowledge sharing among students from both institutions.
